Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current LBS1 endorsement required; candidates who have previously held a PEL with LBS1 will also be considered Previous experience teaching or supporting special education students, preferably at the elementary level Ability to create and adapt individualized learning plans and accommodations Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and students Compassion, adaptability, and a collaborative team-player mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support for elementary students (grades 1-4) within a self-contained, cross-category classroom setting Adapt curriculum, lessons, and assessments to meet diverse learning needs and IEPs Partner with classroom staff, therapists, and families to ensure student success Manage classroom routines, behavior plans, and foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed Perks of the
