Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education (or ability to obtain) Experience or strong interest working with elementary-age students Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Adept at differentiating instruction to address a range of learning needs Collaborative spirit for teaming with staff, families, and support professionals Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsKey Responsibilities:
Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized lesson plans in accordance with IEP goals Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment that nurtures social, emotional, and academic growth Closely collaborate with general education staff to provide support within and outside the classroom Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences Integrate best practices and innovative learning strategies into the curriculum Take pride in joining efforts to support young learners at a critical academic stage.
