HTF Staffing is hiring Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for multiple full-time openings in McHenry, Illinois, for the 2026-2027 school year . These are onsite positions in self-contained autism classrooms with strong classroom support and a collaborative school environment. Available Openings Position 1

1st-2nd Grade (K-5 Building)
Schedule:
8:45 AM - 4:05 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Self-Contained Autism Program Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with autism and diverse learning needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, families, and school staff. Track student progress and maintain required documentation. Foster a structured, positive, and supportive learning environment. Requirements Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) . LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement required. Previous experience in a self-contained or autism classroom preferred.
