Job Description

Step into a contract opportunity shaping the success of K-8 students as an IEP Case Manager with a focus on special education. This full-time position requires an educator who has a strong ability to collaborate, organize, and advocate for individualized learning needs. Your expertise will support diverse learners and empower their growth in an educational setting near Melrose Park, IL.
Qualifications:
Valid LBS1 endorsement is required Experience as a case manager is preferred Background in special education teaching, particularly in school settings Skilled in developing, managing, and implementing IEPs for K-8 students Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Committed to fostering inclusion, equity, and collaboration among staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Manage IEP caseloads for students in grades K-8, varying in size and needs Serve as primary point of contact for student IEPs, coordinating meetings and documentation Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to develop comprehensive individualized plans Ensure full compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines Monitor student progress, adjust goals as needed, and maintain accurate records Provide individualized instruction and adapt curriculum as necessary to meet IEP objectives Support a positive and inclusive learning environment Youll find fulfillment in advocating for students and leading efforts that ensure meaningful academic and social progress. The role offers a structured MondayFriday schedule and the chance to positively influence the lives of exceptional learners.
