Job Description
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Previous experience working with students with disabilities or diverse learning needs Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong understanding of current teaching techniques and behavioral management strategies Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, families, and administratorsMain Responsibilities:
Create and adapt lesson plans to meet each student's needs and learning styles Work with students individually or in small groups to provide specialized instruction Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Regularly assess and revise IEPs to ensure academic growth Serve as a key resource for staff and families regarding student progress and strategies Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teamsWhat You Can Expect:
