This contract opportunity is ideal for an educator passionate about delivering personalized instruction to students with diverse needs. You will work within a therapeutic classroom model, balancing one-on-one teaching with small group settings, and directly contributing to student growth. This position delivers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 32 hours per week. The assignment runs from now through early June, with possible extension through summer school in mid-August.

What Were Looking For:

Valid State teaching license, including LBS1 Special Education endorsement Experience with therapeutic education models or individualized instruction Confidence teaching across K-12 age groups Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and encouraging classroom environment Strong collaborative and communication skills

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Delivering individualized and small-group instruction (up to 4 students) within a therapeutic classroom setting Supporting 6-8 students with varying abilities and social/emotional needs Developing and implementing IEP goals in close collaboration with multidisciplinary staff Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Fostering effective partnerships with families and educational teams Creating engaging, differentiated lesson plans for diverse learners Why Consider This Role?
