Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and creative exploration Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies Engage children in hands-on activities that support their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth based on child development principles Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships Lead daily lesson planning sessions that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate best practices in preschool teaching Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations to maintain a safe environment for all children Supervise assistant teachers and classroom staff, providing guidance on classroom management, behavior strategies, and instructional techniques Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, especially with toddlers aged 2 years old CDA, Associate, or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood a must. Strong background in curriculum development, child development instruction, and classroom management techniques Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in childhood development or preschool teaching preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies Experience with literacy education, standardized testing for young children, and teaching physical education is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for early childhood education Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise nurtures the next generation of learners!
