What You'll Bring:
Valid PEL with LBS1 Endorsement (Illinois) Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field Experience working with high school and/or K-8 caseloads preferred Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills Commitment to providing inclusive and individualized education
Your Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required for your caseload Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success Provide instruction in alignment with state and district standards Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs Engage actively in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
