We have exciting opportunities across the Wilmette, IL and the Greater Chicagoland Area , serving various school districts at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. Classroom assignments and caseloads will align with your expertise and will be discussed in detail during the application process.

Position Requirements:
A valid Illinois teaching certificate with an LBS1 Endorsement. Knowledge of core academic subjects, curriculum planning, and of experience working with students with disabilities. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess & identify students needing speech and language support. Provide individual & group therapy using curriculum-based materials. Develop & implement IEP goals to foster student success. Create an engaging learning environment to promote communication and growth. Collaborate with teachers, specialists & supervise support staff. Utilize alternative communication systems when necessary. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal education regulations.

Contract Position:
Special Education (SPED) Teacher2026/2027 school year.
Schedule:
35-37.5 hours per week, aligned with the academic district calendar.
Caseload:
Details vary by school and will be provided upon application.
