This contract opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher ESY supporting the 2026 ESY program in Illinois . The role is offering a part-time summer assignment for an educator who is ready to support students with diverse learning needs in a school-based setting.

Lake County, IL Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction that supports students with disabilities in school-based learning environments. Implement individualized education plans and provide services aligned to each student's documented needs. Support students in inclusive, pull-out, and specialized classroom settings as required by the program. Provide targeted academic, social, behavioral, and functional support based on each student's needs. Collaborate with school staff and related service providers to help students access instruction and participate in the educational setting.

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Special Education certification is required. Ability to support students with diverse learning needs in school-based special education settings. Experience implementing individualized plans and adapting instruction based on student needs. Ability to provide individualized and small-group support in a structured educational environment. Familiarity with evidence-based strategies that support academic, behavioral, social-emotional, or functional growth.
