Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract position allows you to focus your skills and passion at a single elementary school serving Kindergarten through 5th graders. You'll be providing valuable speech and language services to a manageable caseload of 25-30 students in a supportive, resource-rich setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLP-CFY Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience or clinical background supporting K-5 students preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams within a school environment Passion for supporting children's communication and academic successes
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations Engage in professional development and any scheduled new staff training (dates TBD) Regularly communicate progress and recommendations to staff and caregivers
Position Details:
Full-time schedule: 35.5 hours per week, 8:25am-4:00pm Academic year assignment: August 17, 2026 - May 28, 2027 Serve one elementary school exclusively for true continuity of care Support from a committed school team and ongoing staff development This position is perfect for professionals who thrive in a collaborative, school-based environment.
