Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year as a Special Education Teacher working with young learners in a welcoming, inclusive environment. This full-time position focuses on supporting K-3 students with mild disabilities, fostering growth and success in a nurturing setting. Your expertise in special education will help you build individual connections and create targeted learning plans for a caseload of 15-20 students. You'll be part of a caring school community dedicated to empowering every child and celebrating each milestone—large or small.

Qualifications:

Current Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) Experience teaching or supporting K-3 students strongly preferred Knowledge of best practices for differentiating instruction and adapting curriculum Patience, empathy, and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere Skill working collaboratively with general educators, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs and support growth Monitor student progress and communicate with parents and other professionals Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive classroom where every student feels safe and valued
