Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for middle school grades Experience working with students requiring intense intervention or significant support Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, support staff, and administration Patience, empathy, and adaptability when addressing diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) Manage a caseload of eight middle school students, ensuring personalized attention Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed Partner with parents, therapists, and other teachers to facilitate student growth Maintain an organized, encouraging classroom environment conducive to learning Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to the team process This contract role offers a structured 37.5-hour workweek, ensuring you have the stability of a consistent schedule while positively shaping young lives.
