Middle School Inclusion Teacher

Eastern Greene Middle School is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Inclusion Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs within the general education classroom. This position works closely with general education teachers and the special education team to provide inclusive, standards-based instruction and ensure student success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. Qualifications Valid Indiana teaching license in Elementary or Secondary Special Education Experience with Indiana IEP development systems preferred CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to analyze data and adjust instruction accordingly Job Goals Support students with disabilities in accessing and succeeding in the general education curriculum Collaborate with teachers to provide inclusive, differentiated instruction Promote student growth in academic, social, and behavioral areas Ensure compliance with special education laws and procedures Expectations Plan and collaborate regularly with general education teachers Develop and adapt lesson plans and instructional materials for diverse learners Deliver instruction within general education classrooms Participate in and facilitate case conference committee meetings Develop and maintain IEPs in accordance with Indiana guidelines Administer and analyze academic assessments to guide instruction Provide support for students' social, emotional, and behavioral development Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports Stay current on best practices in special education Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Director of Special Education Additional Responsibilities May Include Providing direct special education services across grade levels as needed Assisting with morning and afternoon duties (student arrival and dismissal) Physical Requirements Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and squatting Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull as needed Additional Information If you would rather apply locally, you may drop off your resume and documentation at: Eastern Greene Middle School 10503 E.
