Duties Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports, theater, and outdoor play to promote creativity and physical activity Manage behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Facilitate youth group activities that encourage teamwork, leadership, and social skills development Provide basic first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies following first aid protocols, including CPR and AED operation when necessary Support children with homework or tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and team members to communicate progress and address individual needs Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive environment Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or camp experience Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education needs Proven ability to supervise children effectively in outdoor work environments and during various activities Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED operation is highly preferred; training provided if needed Excellent team leadership abilities with experience facilitating youth programs or group activities Skills in behavior management, child supervision, tutoring, and Christian counseling are advantageous Ability to adapt activities for diverse age groups and developmental stages while ensuring safety standards are met Join us in shaping young minds and creating memorable experiences!
