Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Indiana Teaching Certificate required (or in process of obtaining) Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher highly valued, but new educators with the required credentials are welcome to apply Familiarity with individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instructional approaches for students with diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess instructional activities tailored to individual student IEP goals Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral support for students with exceptional needs (mild or intense intervention, based on your background) Collaborate with fellow teachers, aides, and related service providers Communicate progress with families and participate in IEP meetings Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
