Responsibilities Develop and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management techniques. Support child development through tailored activities that address individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to safeguard all children in your care. Implement classroom routines that support toddler care, preschool teaching, and overall childhood development instruction. Lead activities that promote physical activity, cognitive growth, and social-emotional learning while adhering to health and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child development principles. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with mandated reporting laws is preferred. Background in early childhood education or related fields such as childhood development or literacy education. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math skills, physical education activities, tutoring strategies, and preschool teaching methodologies.
