Job Description

PURPOSE Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district, state, and federal requirements, guidelines, and standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.

Licensure Options:
Library/Media 5-12 Must possess knowledge of effective practices, including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.
