Special Education Teacher *Up to $50/hr

Job Description

Special Education Teacher for a 39-week contract in Frankfort, Indiana. This role delivers tailored instruction to special education students, supports IEP implementation, and collaborates with school staff. Compensation up to $50 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to individual student needs in resource and behavior classrooms. Implement and monitor IEP goals and objectives, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with classroom staff, administrators, and families to support student success and behavioral development. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and classroom activities. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities to foster a positive educational environment.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience working with special education students Knowledge of behavior management Ability to work with elementary and middle school students Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to adapt to various classroom needs Background check required
