Qualifications and Skills:

Valid certification or licensure as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (as required by state regulations) Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and specialists Willingness to serve multiple schools across the district as needed

Your Responsibilities:
