Two full-time Special Education opportunities are available: one serving a resource caseload of 25-30 students with mild intervention needs, and another focused on intense intervention for a caseload of 10 students. Qualifications and Credentials:

Valid Indiana teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsement (mild or intense intervention, as applicable) Previous experience in a school-based special education setting strongly preferred Proven ability to build rapport with middle school students Strong organizational skills to manage paperwork and IEPs Collaborative mindset for working with colleagues, students, and families Commitment to creating accessible and meaningful learning opportunities for all students

Role Details and Responsibilities:

Full-time (Monday-Friday, approximately 37.5 hours/week) Classroom hours: 8:20 AM 3:10 PM (subject to minor adjustment) Deliver targeted instruction and interventions to students in resource or essential settings, according to certification and placement Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for individual students Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports Work as part of a supportive school team to coordinate services and accommodations Serve as an advocate for students diverse learning needs This contract position offers a stable schedule and the satisfaction of helping students realize their potential in an inclusive academic community.
