Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current Indiana licensure for intense intervention in special education (required) Previous experience working with students who have significant needs preferred Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with families, support staff, and educators Commitment to fostering a positive, compassionate, and inclusive learning atmosphere Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

Provide tailored instruction and educational support for a caseload of approximately 8 students requiring intense intervention Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and therapists to optimize student success Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet varying student abilities and goals Utilize data-driven interventions to track student progress and modify strategies as needed Foster an environment in which all students feel supported, respected, and encouraged to achieve their maximum potential
