Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction and interventions in both classroom and small group settings. Serve as the Teacher of Record, managing caseloads and guiding students academic and behavioral progress. Develop, write, and implement high-quality Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and in compliance with district and regulatory standards. Conduct progress monitoring, data collection, and ongoing communication with parents, staff, and administrators. Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other service providers to support inclusive practices. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities. Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs and foster a positive, supportive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience with mild interventions at elementary or middle school level preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
