Qualifications & Experience Sought:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education Previous experience working with middle school students preferred Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Ability to adapt instruction to various learning styles and abilities Excellent communication skills with students, parents/guardians, and multidisciplinary staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Organizational and documentation proficiency

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted instruction to students receiving resource support using research-based strategies Collaborate closely with general education teachers to modify curriculum and adapt materials Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while tracking student progress Facilitate small group and individualized instruction that meets academic, social, and behavioral goals Maintain consistent communication with families regarding student progress and needs Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Stay current on best practices in special education and ongoing professional development Immerse yourself in a collaborative middle school setting where your expertise guides students toward greater confidence and achievement.
