Job Description

Discover an exciting contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Mild Interventions for a vibrant 5th and 6th grade campus near Valparaiso, IN. This position emphasizes both push-in and pull-out support, working collaboratively with students and staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your expertise will be critical as you address diverse learning needs and make a significant impact on students academic and personal growth. As a Teacher of Record, you will lead the charge in developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and ensuring that progress is closely monitored and documented.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for Indiana certification) Experience implementing mild interventions in school settings Proven ability to write and manage IEPs and conduct progress monitoring Familiarity with push-in and pull-out instructional models Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with staff, students, and families Commitment to inclusive and equitable education for all learners
Key Responsibilities:
