Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid teaching license with Special Education credentials Proven experience or strong interest in working with students who have mild learning disabilities Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and student reporting requirements Skilled in providing differentiated instruction and supporting varied learning needs Comfortable with Teacher of Record responsibilities, including compliance documentation Effective communication and collaboration with faculty, support staff, and parents Adaptability and initiative in dynamic classroom and small group settings

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students requiring mild interventions, supporting their individual learning goals Develop, write, and maintain IEPs in accordance with state and local guidelines Monitor student progress and provide data-driven instructional adjustments Offer both push-in and pull-out services to meet varied student needs within the 5th and 6th grade building Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and administration to ensure comprehensive student support Communicate regularly with families about academic and behavioral progress Participate in meetings, professional development, and initiatives led by school leadership Experience the fulfillment of fostering academic growth and personal success in students.
