Here we GROW again! We're in search of an additional awesome voice instructor for our Valparaiso studio! Do you have a passion for music and a desire to share it with others? Voice Teacher Job details:
Starting with 1 afternoon a week. Teaching music lessons to children and teens Using creativity to make the lessons engaging for each student Maintaining a positive, inspiring and encouraging approach Giving the students opportunities to perform at our monthly talent shows Excellence in musical skills including music reading and theory Thorough knowledge of vocal technique and how to communicate it to students Great at working with young students Good communication skills Show up ready to share your knowledge and inspire your students to learn! The studio's role: We fill the schedule with students We handle missed lessons/no-shows We handle student tuition We write the paychecks We provide a positive work environment We provide inviting music lesson rooms What's it like at Innovative Music & Arts Studio? We help our students build confidence: Our unique system of "learn, practice & share" inspires confidence in our students. Learning happens at the studio during their lesson time, practice takes place at home during the week, and we give them the opportunity to share their music at our monthly performance events! They find that they can do it - and we will show them how from the first note to the performance! We set incremental goals so that our students can see the progress that they are making. We often use creative ideas including music games, theme weeks and studio-wide challenges to celebrate their progress! We help our students develop character: We challenge our students to achieve their goals - whether it be playing for their own enjoyment, performing at their church or seeking a career in the music industry. We serve as a guide to show them how it's done - but it's up to them to do it! We help our students achieve competence: Our students are taught music theory, technique for their chosen instrument, improvising, performance skills and songwriting. We love to see our students succeed and we do all that we can to support them in their musical goal! Teachers enter all of the lesson assignments on our student app. The students are able to login at home to view their assignments as they practice each day. Would you be a great fit for our studio?
