Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

About This Role Lead a classroom of one-year-old children as a co-teacher in Washington, IN, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports early developmental milestones, social skills, and basic daily routines. What You'll Do Plan and implement daily age-appropriate activities focusing on sensory play, motor skills, and social interaction. Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children in the classroom at all times. Communicate daily with parents regarding their child's progress, meals, naps, and behavior. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or early childhood education coursework preferred. CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Nice To Have Minimum of 1 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience with infant/toddler developmental screening tools. Bilingual communication skills.
