Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, attentive, and dependable overnight caregiver to support a child with Epilepsy and Autism. This role is critical to ensuring the child's safety and well-being during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable providing medical-related care in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the child's safety and comfort throughout the night Monitor closely for signs of seizures and respond appropriately according to established care protocols Fall prevention Administer and manage G-tube feeds as scheduled Observe, document, and report any changes in condition or concerns Maintain a quiet, supportive environment conducive to rest Communicate clearly with parents/caregivers regarding overnight events

Qualifications:

CNA or HHA preferred; will also consider candidates with other relevant healthcare or caregiving backgrounds, such as EMS, BLS, or DSP experience. Experience caring for individuals with special needs, epilepsy, or complex medical conditions preferred Familiarity with G-tube feeding and seizure monitoring (training may be provided for the right candidate) Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight hours CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor Must pass a background check and provide references

Ability to stay awake and attentive for the full shift Ability to follow detailed care plans and emergency procedures Pay is a flat nightly rate of $140.00 per night for 6 hours of work.
