Active Special Education teaching certification Prior experience supporting students with mild to moderate to severe needs in a school setting Demonstrated understanding of IEP development and implementation Strong collaboration skills to work with administrators, related service teams, and families Adaptability in managing various caseload sizes and needs Excellent communication, organization, and records management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student Deliver effective instruction to students in accordance with district standards and students unique learning goals Collect and analyze ongoing progress data, adjusting approaches as needed Foster an inclusive classroom environment that nurtures students strengths and independence Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and federal special education regulations Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers to ensure the best educational outcomes Participate in parent conferences, IEP meetings, and professional development activities
