REQUIREMENTS
( Experience must be documented on your application) Minimum of 3 months of machine or packer operator experience and minimum of 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years. The Process Control Technician is responsible for performing ready-to-eat quality checks to ensure the facility is producing high-quality lunch meat.
RESPONSIBILITIES
(Include, but are not limited to the following) LEAN Manufacturing
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line-side problem solving 5S program (Andon System Stoplight
  • Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace Ensure meat is packaged in correct packaging by periodically monitoring printed film, ingredients statement, cardstock label, case label, and corrugate must all be the approved USDA label for the product being manufactured.
Document the film, case, cardstock, code date, and GTIN label hourly and at every production event of shift start, changeovers, top film changes, and end of shift. Check CQP samples for misprints, discoloration, or other quality problems such as Number Missing off SKU on corrugate, discoloration on cardstock, Bleeding ink on film SKU number, Illegible case code date, Illegible tub code date, GTIN information cut off at edge. Check vision system cameras at each check. Perform metal detection checks to verify equipment is working properly to reduce the potential for damaged equipment on the processing floor and for metal foreign material contamination on the RTE floor by using Metal Detection standards/wands. Perform oxygen checks on packages each hour to ensure levels are within range. Perform Checkweigher Net Weight and Reject Checks Identify material quality defects and take appropriate action Weigh rework using a floor scale and a Human Machine Interface (HMI) workstation Operate a handheld digital scanner

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to perform physical lifting/moving, bending to stock material from inventory location to robotic equipment (Min 25 LBS)
