Job Description

We are seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for three full-time contract roles, available immediately through late May 2027. Work onsite and enjoy the opportunity to make a difference at a single location, fostering relationships with students and colleagues alike. Currently, there are three unique positions open: Middle School Teacher serving students with emotional disabilities Middle School Teacher supporting students with functional and life skills needs Elementary Teacher working with students with emotional disabilities If youre looking to advance your career while supporting a diverse group of learners, this role is the perfect fit.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Kansas Special Education Certification (KS SPED Cert) required Experience with emotional disabilities or life skills classrooms preferred Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive environment Strong collaboration skills for working with school teams and families Dedication to individualized instruction and differentiated learning strategies
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Deliver engaging instruction tailored to each students needs Work closely with support staff and related service providers Cultivate constructive communication with parents and caregivers Document student progress and meet all compliance requirements Contribute positively to school climate and culture
