Start a meaningful contract position supporting students in special education programs in the Shawnee, KS area. Openings are available for dedicated teachers across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with a focus on classrooms serving students with life skills needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.

Multiple positions are available:

five at the elementary level, three at the middle school level, one at the high school level, and two part-time half-teacher positions. This opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through May 21, 2027.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

Active Kansas teaching license in Special Education for the appropriate grade level at the time of application Proven experience in special education, ideally with students presenting autism, behavioral needs, or life skills development Flexibility in working with diverse learners and adapting instructional strategies Effective communication and collaboration skills for partnering with colleagues, support staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:
