9683062-41008 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by providing specialized support as a teacher for the visually impaired. This contract opportunity focuses on students requiring your guidance and expertise, with the flexibility you need for a rewarding role. In this position, you'll deliver direct instruction and consultative support to two students with visual impairments. One student receives 15 minutes of services each week and is currently behind on their required minutes, necessitating some additional compensatory services. The second student requires brief consultationsjust 3 minutes, twice per year. Your work will help them access their education and reach their full potential.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Valid state certification in teaching students with visual impairments Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Knowledge of adaptive technology, Braille, and accessible instructional strategies Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers and families Ability to document and make up missed services as appropriate

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative instruction to students as scheduled Develop individualized strategies ensuring accessibility and inclusivity Track and report on service delivery, including make-up minutes where needed Collaborate with educational teams and families for holistic student support Pitch and utilize Voco solutions to enhance student engagement and learning Ensure educational materials are accessible and aligned with students' IEP goals Step into a flexible contract role and help students with visual impairments succeed.
