Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Florence, KY for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a collaborative and student-focused environment.
Position Details:
Full-time, school-based role K-12 caseload (assignment based on experience and preference) 2026-2027 school year Structured support from district staff and administration
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide specialized instruction to meet diverse student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education Active Kentucky Special Education certification (or ability to obtain) Experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills
