Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) is required Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience working 1:1 with pediatric learners preferred Flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for student development Open to travel candidates adaptable to a school-based schedule
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized, direct instruction to a visually impaired student in accordance with their IEP Develop accessible educational materials and modify content for the students needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, related services, and family members to promote inclusion Monitor progress and document outcomes, making adjustments to strategies as needed Advocate for student participation in all facets of the school experience
