Key Qualifications:

Current Kentucky teaching certification for Visual Impairments Experience providing direct services to students with visual impairments preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educational teams and parents Skilled in conducting assessments and developing individualized educational plans Excellent organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments one day each week Attend ARC meetings to coordinate educational planning and ensure consistent student progress Complete comprehensive assessment reports to document student needs and growth Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies that promote access and inclusion Help design and implement modifications and accommodations for curriculum materials Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in vision services This part-time position offers flexibilityyoull provide essential support without a full-time commitment, making it an excellent fit for specialists managing other professional or personal responsibilities.
