This contract position is conveniently located near Lewisburg, KY, and runs from October 5, 2026, through May 17, 2027, offering a stable, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You'll work directly with a small, dedicated caseload of seven elementary students, providing individualized instruction and support essential to their growth. What We're Looking For:

Valid Kentucky Special Education Teacher certification (SPED) with Moderate/Severe Disabilities (MSD) credentials Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities in school settings Strong commitment to individualized instruction and inclusive education Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for creating a positive, encouraging environment for all learners

In This Role, You Will:

Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction based on each student's IEP Foster a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment for elementary-aged children Collaborate closely with families, therapists, and general education teachers Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
