9659430-41465 Job Description An opportunity is available for a Teacher specializing in Visual Impairments to provide telehealth services for two highly functional students. This contract position involves delivering specialized instruction and support tailored to the unique educational needs of students with visual impairments.

Location:

Salyersville, KY (Telehealth services linked to Paintsville, KY)

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized telehealth instruction for visually impaired students, ensuring accessibility and engagement. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students' visual and learning needs. Collaborate with families and educational staff to support student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary. Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning and communication in a remote setting. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and reporting.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) required. Experience working with highly functional visually impaired students. Proficiency in telehealth instructional methods and related technologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators. Ability to develop customized instructional materials suitable for remote delivery.

Schedule and Commitment:

Approximately 8 hours per week. Contract-based role with flexible scheduling to accommodate student needs.
