Required Qualifications:

Valid and current Special Education Certification for Louisiana Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in 3rd and 4th grades, is preferred Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each students needs and abilities Provide engaging, differentiated instruction in alignment with IEP goals Foster a classroom culture built on patience, encouragement, and respect Maintain and update records documenting student progress, goals, and interventions Collaborate with fellow educators, specialists, and families to deliver well-rounded support Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed This role offers full-time hours (five days a week) and the chance to work closely with a manageable caseload of 3rd and 4th graders. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through May 20, 2027, allowing for meaningful and lasting connections with students and colleagues alike. Accepted candidates enjoy compensation between $45 and $50 per hour, paid weekly.
