Qualifications and Experience:
Current Educational Diagnostician certification or relevant credentials Experience administering and interpreting a variety of educational and cognitive assessments Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and eligibility criteria Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services Develop clear, data-driven reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights that guide instructional planning and accommodations Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to ensure cohesive support for student growth Maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements Provide consultation and training as needed to staff and families on assessment and intervention strategies
