Key Qualifications:

Current Louisiana Special Education (SPED) Certification is required Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably grades 3 and 4 Commitment to developing tailored learning plans and inclusive classroom strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to 3rd and 4th-grade students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Manage a caseload of students, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to ensure comprehensive support for each child Prepare and maintain accurate records, assessments, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements Engage actively in parent meetings and IEP team conferences
