Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Current Louisiana Educator Certificate (SPED Educator Certificate preferred; Elementary 1-5 Certificate considered) Demonstrated expertise in special education, with adaptability to work in various settings as needed Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills for engaging with students, families, and fellow educators Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or a related teaching role is highly valued Open to educators comfortable managing a full caseload and delivering individualized instructionKey Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique strengths and challenges Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic, behavioral, and social development Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, instructional aides, and support staff to address the holistic needs of students Employ diverse instructional techniques and materials adapted for various learning abilities Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and regularly communicate with families and school administratorsBenefits & Perks:
