This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated professional who will serve as an itinerant teacher for the visually impaired, traveling to schools across the area to ensure every student gets the tailored resources and support they deserve. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree and active Louisiana DOE certificationvisually impaired certification required 3+ years in elementary, secondary, or special education settings Demonstrated skill supporting students with visual impairments Strong command of assistive technology, especially for training and empowering others Ability to provide Braille instruction; orientation and mobility training experience is a plus Professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring others Own reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple school sites Must complete a district drug screen and fingerprinting, as well as agency credentialing

Role Responsibilities:
