Qualifications:
Current and active Louisiana SPED Educator Certificate required Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher in K-12 school settings Versatility to work with a wide range of learning challenges and ability levels Strong communication and organizational capabilities Commitment to fostering positive and inclusive classroom experiences Comfortable and flexible with any SPED classroom setting
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction as prescribed by IEPs for students with special needs Develop and adjust lesson plans, ensuring compliance with special education standards Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation on academic and behavioral goals Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration Communicate effectively with students' families and participate in IEP meetings Foster a supportive, engaging classroom atmosphere where every child can succeed
