Job Description

What Youll Bring:
Valid Louisiana Educator Certificate (SPED certification preferred; Elementary 1-5 Certificate considered) Solid background in Special Education instruction across a range of settings Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with staff and families Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with emotional, learning, and physical disabilities Design and implement IEPs tailored to each students strengths and needs Use evidence-based strategies and adaptive technologies to engage learners Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, and compliance Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to support student success Participate in professional development and contribute to school initiatives
