Qualifications and Desired Background:

Valid Louisiana Educator Certificate required (SPED Educator Certificate preferred, but Elementary 1-5 Certificate holders considered) Experience teaching or supporting elementary students, particularly in a self-contained or special education classroom Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment Willingness to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
