Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained special education classroom Develop and implement instruction aligned with individual student IEP goals Support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

Active Louisiana Educator Certificate required Candidates with a Special Education Educator Certificate are preferred Candidates holding an Elementary 15 Certificate may also be considered Previous experience working in a self-contained special education setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills This is a great opportunity for a Special Education Teacher looking for a consistent full-time elementary assignment through the end of the school year.
