Job Description

Bethel Christian School is seeking a dedicated, organized, and Christ-centered teacher to join our faculty as a 7th Grade Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for students, a strong Christian testimony, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to plan and teach engaging, effective lessons. The teacher will be responsible for providing a structured, positive, and academically challenging classroom environment while incorporating biblical principles and Christian character into daily instruction. Primary Responsibilities Teach assigned 7th grade subjects effectively and enthusiastically. Develop and maintain organized, age-appropriate lesson plans. Prepare daily instruction and classroom activities that support student learning and engagement. Present lessons clearly and effectively using a variety of teaching methods. Maintain an orderly, respectful, and productive classroom environment. Establish and enforce appropriate classroom expectations and discipline. Assess student understanding through assignments, tests, projects, and other forms of evaluation. Maintain accurate grades and student records. Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents, students, and school administration. Provide additional instruction or support to students when needed. Incorporate biblical principles and a Christian worldview into classroom instruction and student interactions. Participate in school activities, meetings, and other responsibilities as assigned. Work cooperatively with other teachers and administration to support the overall mission of the school. Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to the school community.
Preferred Qualification:
Spanish Bilingual or fluent Spanish-speaking applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. An applicant who is proficient in Spanish may have the opportunity to teach Spanish to elementary and high school students in addition to their 7th grade teaching responsibilities. The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is a significant plus.

From $11.00 per hour
