Immediately Job Description The Athol-Royalston Regional School District is looking for a Special Education Teacher in the Developmental Life Skills program at the Athol Middle School. Licensed candidates, and those who may qualify for Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licenses or waivers, are encouraged to apply. Individuals who believe they may qualify for a DESE waiver are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must be committed to helping students find academic, social, and emotional success in a setting that may include substantially separate and inclusive settings. The chosen educator will work alongside and in partnership with content general educators. The ideal candidate will create an equitable, inclusive environment that supports students' cognitive, developmental and life skills growth while presenting them with challenging, rigorous content, with a focus on individualized growth. Starting Salary Range is $53,876 - $95,344 commensurate with degree and years of experience. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply. On the job training, support and/or mentoring will be provided.
